If you like Jazz or Western Classical Music ( Why wouldn't you ? It's beyond me why there are people who do not like these two genres ) then I suggest that you can go to this link http://radio.linnrecords.com/. It is the best when it comes to acoustic purity of Music and both these genres require the utmost attention to detail. Please listen to someone called Carol Kidd (of course she's more than someone.She is the Queen of England's favorite Jazz Singer and also Prince Charles')and she is an MBE (Member of the British Empire). If you have a fairly good music system or more, then this is manna from heaven ! Listen to all their three channels. Totally Mental!!

Mauritians are not from Mars!!!!
Visa on Arrival for Indians! That's a change! Friendly People, Even Better! Yummy Food, what more could you ask for? Drowning the food with Mauritian Rhum (Rum) is almost a must. After all that Rhum you will need no instructor for doing a Sega (Traditional Mauritian Dance). When you ask for Rum in any shop, the shop-keeper asks if you want an Industrial Rum (distilled at a distillery) or an Agricultural (labelled Agricole)Rum. Go for the Agricultural one. You will also get Rum flavored with Vanilla (quite nice) and Pineapple (not bad).
Amongst the PikPiks (local small red colored birds)and Red-Whattled Bulbuls we ate at the Best restaurant in Mauritius. It's a small place called M near Chamarel. The Butter-fried Prawns are out of this world!So is the grilled chicken that is served on a bed of flavored rice and a very spicy chutney made of only ground green chillies. You'll start humming the song "Heaven, I am in Heaven......( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYMDXO-cJoQ ). Raspberries are another pleasant surprise in Mauritius. Super Sweet. But again, Mauritius is out of this world but Mauritians are not from Mars!!!!
